Sensate reviews submissions twice a year following our FEBRUARY 1 and SEPTEMBER 30 deadlines. You are welcome to submit any time throughout the year, but please be aware that responses from our editorial team will be more prompt following the above deadline for submission dates. Please fill out the form below to submit an article for publication in Sensate. If you have an idea for a piece that you’d like to discuss but aren’t ready to submit, or any questions whatsoever, feel free to contact us and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible.

Producer (optional)You are welcome to work with an outside "producer," self-produce, or work with someone from our staff to “produce” the piece. The “producer” is responsible for managing media, uploading media to the internet and into our database as necessary, formulating a navigation and structure for the pieces with the author(s) and overseeing the execution of the piece. The producer will also be in communication with our team to relay technical specifications and author needs.

Media Assets Sensate does not host media files. All media files published in Sensate are pulled from public sites such as YouTube, Flickr, Soundcloud, FTP space, etc. Please list here the URLs to the media files you would like to use.(required)
How will you integrate the media? Please give a brief description of how you would like the piece to be formatted and/or displayed. We encourage creative thinking about the form of the piece. You may use the non-linear editing platform, Zeega, to construct your piece; however, this is not a requirement. Zeega will be available to the public by late summer 2012.We are more than happy to work with you to determine the best layout, structure and media format, but we’d like to hear your ideas here first.(required)
Storyboard/diagram Please send a scanned drawing, sketch, diagram, storyboard, or any other visualization of the organization and layout of the piece to sensatejournal@gmail.com.
